The Chinese communist regime is blaming Russia for the recent COVID-19 surge in China’s Nanjing city. Meanwhile, a leaked internal government document reveals that the regime considers Russia to be the primary source of imported infections.
Since July 20, the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, also known as the novel coronavirus, has resurfaced in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, and has spread to at least 18 provinces and cities across the country. The source of this round of outbreaks has been identified as Nanjing Lukou Airport. Jiangsu Province has reported a total of 642 locally confirmed cases from July 20 to the present. The true number of infected cases is unknown due to the Chinese regime’s cover-up of the epidemic.
At a press conference on July 30, Ding Jie, deputy director of the Nanjing Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, stated that the genetic sequence of the early reported cases of the airport cabin cleaners was consistent with the sequence of an imported case reported on flight CA910 from Russia on July 10. On that plane, the cleaners worked.
According to public records, the CA910 flight operates on a regular basis from Moscow, Russia, to Nanjing, China, via Air China. It operates every Saturday, with the most recent flight taking place on July 17. According to Chinese state media, flight CA910 has been temporarily halted up to ten times due to infected passengers since last year’s pandemic.
The Epoch Times obtained an internal Chinese regime document indicating that Russia is the primary source of imported COVID-19 infections.
The document is titled “Brief Report (Issue 396) of the Most Recent Situation of the National Epidemic Situation.” The report is labeled “internal material.”
This briefing summarizes the status of the local epidemic as well as the imported cases, and includes statistical tables.
According to the document’s “Overseas Epidemic Import Statistics Table,” the top five countries listed as sources of imported COVID-19 cases from China are Russia (950), the United States (475), the United Kingdom (424), the Philippines (335), and the UAE (176). The Chinese regime considers Russia to be the largest source of China’s imported cases, which are twice as many as those from the United States.
According to Li Linyi, a current affairs commentator based in the United States, based on the Nanjing authorities’ accusations against Russia and the CCP State Council’s internal document, the regime’s unified official rhetoric appears to be to blame foreign countries for the source of COVID-19 outbreaks in China. Otherwise, it will appear that CCP officials are ineffective in combating the epidemic, making it difficult for them to retain their official positions. “In fact, the local COVID-19 infections in mainland China have never stopped, it’s just that the CCP has been covering it up,” Li told The Epoch Times. When it becomes uncontrollable and is exposed to the public, the authorities shift the blame to other countries. “
